The Position is at Middelburg – Steve Tshwete Local Municipality-Nkangala District
Minimum Requirements:
PSIRA registration and Training Certificates – valid and up to date
Firearm Competency (Handgun, Shotgun, and Rifle advantageous)
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in the security industry.
Strong knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and staff supervision.
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Must be reliable, disciplined, and able to work shifts.
Clean criminal record and traceable references.
Key Responsibilities:
Safeguard the Mine assets and do regular patrolling.
Conducting security checks when monitoring entrance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, PSIRA regulations, and client requirements
Documenting shift activities and writing reports.
Control access and enforce security procedures
Preventing unauthorized access to the premises.
Liaise with management and clients regarding operational matters.
Check and verify IDs of employees, visitors, or contractors and maintain visitor’s log.
Respond to alerts or unusual activity and provide clear handover notes for the next shift.
Salaries – Market Related.

ADMINISTRATOR RELIEVER

DESCRIPTION
CPS Security Services is seeking a reliable and highly adaptable Administrator Reliever to join our team on a casual basis. You will provide essential administrative support across our operations, stepping in at different sites and teams to cover leave, peak periods, staff shortages, or special projects. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, can adapt quickly to new environments, and is comfortable working across multiple locations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide professional administrative support including reception duties, correspondence, filing, and data entry
Manage schedules, rosters, appointments, and coordination of security personnel
Prepare reports, incident logs, client documentation, and operational paperwork
Maintain accurate records and databases in compliance with security industry standards and confidentiality requirements
Handle incoming calls, client enquiries, and visitor management with a high level of professionalism
Support operations teams with general office administration, billing support, and project-related tasks
Travel between CPS offices and various client sites as required
Assist with archiving, scanning, permit tracking, and information management.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience in an administrative or office support role (experience in security, facilities management, or related industries is highly regarded)
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database/rostering systems
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to different sites and teams
Highly flexible availability – including short-notice shifts, varying days/hours, and occasional evenings/weekends if required
Willingness to work across multiple locations with no fixed base (own reliable transport essential)
PSIRA registered (if not yet registered, CPS will assist with the process)
Valid security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
Ability to successfully pass a medical fitness check
Current driver’s licence and clean criminal record
