Siding Security Manager
The Position is at Middelburg – Steve Tshwete Local Municipality-Nkangala District
Minimum Requirements:
Must be able to speak, read and write English and fluently.
Must have a valid driver’s license with own reliable transport.
Must have No Criminal Record or pending cases.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime when required.
Must be available on a 24-hour standby basis.
Articulate and able to communicate at all levels.
Excellent Operational planning & Organisational skills.
Attention to detail, Disciplined and Stress/anger Management skills.
Qualification and Experience:
Must have at least 3-5 years’ mining experience in related position.
Must have a business firearm competency – Handgun, Shotgun and Rifle.
Must be familiar with all legislation relating to the 2.6.1 position.
Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is advantageous.
Good interpersonal skills to liaise with client, community, SAPS, and outside stakeholders.
Grade 12 with PSIRA A grade qualification.
Salaries – Market Related.
Duties:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all siding operations.
Ensure the efficient loading and dispatch of mineral products.
Coordinate rail and transport schedules with logistics providers and customers.
Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
Ensure optimum utilization of siding equipment and infrastructure.
Minimize operational delays and improve turnaround times.
Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments.
Compile weekly, monthly, site incident reports and participate in operational planning meetings.
Ensure compliance with environmental and quality management requirements.
Resolve operational issues affecting production and product dispatch.
Continuously identifies areas of high-risk exposure and implements improved risk control/security measures and implement methods/procedures to counteract.
Review, plan, motivate, organise, and monitor the training of security staff.
Salary – Market Related.
